Camille Feinberg was born into an artistic family in Los Angeles and
received her artistic training at Chouinard, Cal Arts and Rutgers University. In
1971 she moved to New York, where she painted and was active as a performer
in experimental theater and film.  Among her other influences are science and
contemporary trends and the combination of logical understanding and emotional response
that is represented by these interests are very much at the center of her
work.
